Susan Maletsky has a certificate from the Hussian School of Art and has studied at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts.
In addition to her personal paintings, she has been a needlepoint canvas painter, worked on large murals and created numerous floor cloths. For much of her life she has designed and executed costume creations and created works in fabric.
"I paint because it makes me happy, I want to share the humor, love and color I see in everyday life. The fruit and veggies reflect a passion and practice of ‘Five fruits and vegetables a day’ for cancer and heart disease prevention."
