Growing up Artistic

The daughter of two artists, Cristina has been taking photographs since she was five years old. She was given her first camera for a family vacation to Colorado, and her parents expected to have a few rolls of badly exposed, uncomposed images. Instead, she proudly announced her goal- to be a National Geographic Photographer and make "David Attenborough" films.

The photos from that very first outing were composed, thoughtful and 'keepers'!

Realizing her talent, her parents encouraged her to continue her photography. As she grew, she tried more and new techniques, eventually attending the University of the Arts and graduating with a strong portfolio of work in photography and design in 2004.

Today Cristina works as Director of Digital Production for Clair Pruett Studios in Springfield, and as an event photographer for both Pruett and private commissions. Her personal work encompasses varied subject matter and techniques. Animals, lanscapes, cityscapes and portraiture are all shown with her unique 'eye'.
