Growing up Artistic

The daughter of two artists, Cristina has been taking photographs since she was five years old. She was given her first camera for a family vacation to Colorado, and her parents expected to have a few rolls of badly exposed, uncomposed images. Instead, she proudly announced her goal- to be a National Geographic Photographer and make "David Attenborough" films.

The photos from that very first outing were composed, thoughtful and 'keepers'!

Crissy continued pursuing photography and added graphic design to her skillset, attending the University of the Arts and graduating with a strong portfolio of work in photography and design in 2004.

Today Cristina works as an event photographer for Clair Pruett Studios, and also accepts private commissions. She blends her time creating photographs and designing logos, websites, etc, with time spent raising her son, Tyler, who was born on August 1, 2009. Crissy's personal work encompasses varied subject matter and techniques. Animals, lanscapes, cityscapes and portraiture are all shown with her unique 'eye'. Crissy's husband, Jon Barmby, owns a Paoli-based landscaping business. We invite you to visit it at http://www.barmbylandscaping.com.
